The Quad Cities Illini Club has awarded two (2) $1,000 scholarships to local seniors attending the University of Illinois next year. The two winners are Natalie Sheahan and Rachel Atwell. Ms. Sheahan, a graduate of Cambridge High School, is planning on being a Dentist and will study Bio-Chemistry at Illinois. Rachel Atwell graduated from Geneseo High School this spring and is planning on studying Natural Resources and Environmental Science. The Quad Cities Illini Club has been organized for just over a year and half and is a collection of alumni, fans, family and friends who share a common appreciation for the University of Illinois Fighting Illini.
